Skilynx is a Vuarnet worldwide exclusive, classed by them as a 'yellow'
base tint. As Vuarnet do this we now refer to the main colour as 'yellow' also
in our items specifics (as we can only choose one colour there). But for the
benefit of prospective buyers here...
the tint colour is best described as an amber really (main tint: yellow +
second: green + third: brown).
Feedback from friends and customers that wear them describe the tint simply as
a 'green' or 'yellow-green', such is the effect of those three tints combined.
It really depends if you are looking at something bright, they'll then appear
more yellow, or less bright they'll appear more yellow-green.
Just stating all this to help avoid lens selection error.
Double gradient exterior filters (subtle chrome flash (mirror) at top and
bottom that reflect harmful light from above and bounce-back reflections from
below)
Cat.3 lenses are suitable for driving. In previous decades they used to be
classed as a Cat.4 (3% ->8% transmittance) as technically 66% of the lens is.
However as a user will be viewing through the lighter tinted other 33% of
center band 90% of the time, Cat.3 (8% - 18% transmittance) is more appropriate.
