For sale is a stunning Vintage Zuni Anna Lee Tekala Native American Sun Face
Bolo Tie. Appears to be made with turquoise, coral, black jet, and
mother-of-pearl. Lots of embellished details. Leather cord with silver tips and
gemstone embellishments. It is tarnished; this has been sitting in a drawer for
some time. It was worn often by the previous owner.

This item has been given to me for sale by the family of the person who
owned it. He passed away, so I cannot give more details on provenance. This
person had many bolo ties and others will soon be at auction.

My understanding from the family of the owner is that this is created in the
technique of channel inlay.
Silver is tarnished and could use a cleaning; item could use cleaning
overall.
Age is vintage 60s/70s
Measures approximately 3.5” W x 3.25” H
Tiny silver balls around edges.
Silver tips with gemstone embellishments.
Weight of sun is 50g and tips are 20g
Black leather braided cord is 38” and shows some wear.
I notice a tiny chip in the turquoise on the face and a thin vertical line
in the MOP on the face under the coral section.
