Red Moroccan leather vintage travel documents wallet, made in West Germany. The
wallet measures about 8"L x 4.25"W x .5"D. It features a snap tab closure which
opens to slots for baggage checks, letter of credit, travelers' checks, foreign
currency on the left side, and slots for airline tickets, rail tickets, and
landing cards--all labeled in a contrast gold leaf uppercase typography. There
are 2 side pockets that are 4 inches wide--deep enough for a US passport book.
The quaint wallet, a document of mid-century travel, is in excellent pre-owned,
vintage condition, with all the pockets in tact and clean inside. There are
small spots--perhaps ink spots--on the cover and both inside panels--please see
photos. All told, these flaws do not detract from the overall beauty, utility
and integrity of this wallet.
