This trap has a pan and pan shank cast in one piece and could operate as dog or dogless with minor modification. This is the dog version and was fitted with a very short dog. The trap is in very good condition with strong springs and complete chain and ring and the pan reads quite well for a THE VICTOR trap where pan strikes are usually very light.
