Got as part of an inheritance about 10 years ago. Didn’t work when I initially
received it. I ordered a barrel for the 747 model alongside rear sights and
seals because they were worn out. All parts were ordered directly from daisy.
Daisy was also able to find when this gun was manufactured based on the serial
number. October of 1980. They said there is a good chance it was bought out of
a catalog that was offered to police officers at the time.
I still have the sticker for the grips on a piece of cooking paper. Didn’t
wish to throw it away as it was the only thing that signified this gun was
indeed belonging to this box.
Also have some paperwork that came inside the box. Pellets were in the box
with the gun lube.
It shoots, but with all of these specific air guns, the seals once again
struggle to hold pressure.
I called the daisy air gun museum in Roger’s Arkansas and they barely knew of
this specific offering…. But they think it’s neat. So there’s that!
