Java Fern are an incredibly easy live aquarium plant - simply drop the plant
into the aquarium! Live plants naturally filter your water of waste nutrients,
add oxygen, consume carbon dioxide, and provide safe shelter for your fish!
You can also tie or glue the plant to rocks, wood, or other decor; just make
sure not to bury the rhizome (green horizontal stem) under your substrate. This
means this plant can thrive in tanks with sand, gravel, soil, or even no
substrate at all! This plant does just fine with even regular overhead ceiling
lighting or indirect lighting from a window, so any type of lighting you have
on your aquarium will be just fine. Fertilizer supplements are not necessary,
but you may notice faster reproduction after adding a liquid aquarium plant
fertilizer to your water.
Shipping: Our default shipping is USPS ground with a Bubble Mailer. For
delicate plants and during fluctuating weather, please add our Shipping Upgrade
Listing for temperature protection, faster shipping, and a cardboard box
instead of a bubble mailer!
