COLOR
Contrary to popular belief, the "redness" of red root floaters does not
indicate the overall health or quality of the plant, but instead, its
environmental conditions
Tips to deepen red coloration:
Tip #1- Give the plants high, full spectrum light for long photoperiods (>10
hours)
Tip #2- Lower nitrogen levels in aquarium (<10 ppm)
Tip #3- Maintain an adequate level of micronutrients in water by dosing liquid
fertilizer
Note: To make plants greener, follow the inverse of the tips given above
TANK RAISED
These plants are raised in a tank and will adapt much better to your
conditions than farm grown plants

HOW TO REPORT DEAD PLANTS
Please understand that the plants can appear a little yellowish and some
delicate roots might fall off during shipping. This is an unavoidable part of
shipping plants.
If you are shipping with First Class, you must report within 24 hours of
delivery for a full refund.
If you are shipping with Priority mail, you must report within 48 hours of
delivery for a full refund.
Please take a clear photo of the dead plants and send them to me. A full
refund will be sent; alternatively, replacement plants can be shipped to the
buyer for free.
SNAILS
My tank has some Ramshorn snails, contrary to popular belief, they are
completely harmless.
If you don't like snails, leave a note to me and I will send you some Alum
along with your order. Soak the plants in a mixture of Alum and water and the
snails will be gone.
Alum recipe:
Step 1- mix 1/4 tsp of alum per 1/3 cup water in a seperate container
Step 2- soak plants in alum solution for 4 hours (soaking for more than 4
hours can cause plants to die)
Step 3- rinse thoroughly with water
DO NOT USE ALUM DIRECTLY IN TANK*
If you want snails, leave me a note and I'll ship your order with a few
extra.
