This transducer mount is specifically designed for Hook2 or similar
Triple-shot TS models with the same long skinny type of transducers, ensuring a
perfect fit. This mount provides accurate underwater readings for your fishing
needs and its made in Australia for faster delivery.
This Lowrance replacement holder/mount is an essential accessory to avoid
having to replace the whole transducer when broken, which otherwise would
effectively make it beyond economical repair, at the cost of well over $200.
Replacement holder mount is compatible to transducers with Lowrance 7, Hook2
Triple-shot or similar models. If still unsure, please ask. Does not include
stainless steel bracket or transducer, just the plastic holder.
Instructions -
First, remove the broken part of the holder mount from the transducer, a
straightforward process using a hack saw. Just cut it starting from the inside
of the mount, using the top of the transducer as a guide. It's essential to be
cautious not to damage the wires or the transducer itself during this step.
Then slide on this new holder and secure the top angle adjustment part of the
holder into the original stainless steel bracket. The transducer fits snugly
into the new mount and on transducer, as an added option, you can secure it
further with a 5mm grub set screw, 12mm in length, through the hole at the top
of the mount, although not always required.
