MINT UNUSED 8 1/2' DAVE COOK TARRYALL SPECIAL FLY RARE SOLID MAHOGANY GRIP & SEAT TERRYALL RESERVOIR IN COLORADO was completed on the SOUTH PLATTE RIVER in 1931. Dave COOK started business in DENVER COLORADO in 1936. This cane (bamboo) rod is well made with all black wraps tipped red. It was probably an early product in Dave Cook's store at 16th and LARIMER DENVER. The bag appears original. THE METAL TUBE HAS AN UNUSUAL CENTER SCREW IN ATTACHMENT I have seen hundreds of fly rods over many years, at lots of the vintage sporting good shows around Colorado , but have never see another rod like this one. Probably quite rare given the solid mahogany grip and reel seat.
