This is an installer accessory kit. These are a few items that you need to do
the complete proper installation of a lithium battery into a Club Car Precedent
cart. These are the items we use in our shop when we do the lithium install.
The correct years for this in 2004-up Precedent models. Plates and Pods MADE IN
THE USA!
1 x Gauge pod (no gauge included, comes with lithium kit) (also available in
colors if desired!) 1 x Charger adapter plate (These are available in multiple
colors as shown in photos! Just ask for which one you want!) 1 x 120V adapter
plug
This kit fills the needs for adapters and plates. Your lithium kit should
come with a battery, charger, install kit for the battery and gauge. However
all manufacturers differ and you are responsible to make sure you get what you
need. This kit provides you with the required extras to finish it off in a
professional way. This kit is designed to work with all Lithium makes including
RoyPow, Allied, Ecobattery, etc.
We have included a couple photos of a gauge pod mounted under the cupholder
area of a Star Cart. This is the most effective place to mount the gauge in the
Star and TXT carts without cutting a bunch of holes in your dash. The Precedent
can be mounted in the glove box, the center box or even on the side of the
plastic panel covering the steering shaft.
There is also a photo of a plug with adapter plate installed in a cart. Yours
will look almost identical. (This photo is a TXT 48V model, however the
differences are minimal)
We are including the adapter plug on this listing. Please, do yourself a
favor and do NOT use one of those cheap sockets where you must cut your charger
cord and screw it together. Those can become loose and cause a meltdown or even
worse potentially a fire and they are susceptible to water intrusion. And don't
fall for the ones that claim they are waterproof when you can see they are not.
The adapter we use is manufactured as one piece and is 100% waterproof.
