This is a fascinating vintage Navajo turquoise and coral silver bolo tie.
This remarkable bolo contains a large very chunky spiderweb matrix turquoise
stone that appears to be from the incredible Bisbee turquoise mine. Accenting
the turquoise stone is a chunky coral stone. Situated around the bolo are
beautiful silver works that include shells, leaves, channel works and sun
stampings. The incredible bolo measures a stunning 3" X 2-1/4". Resting at the
bottom of the wonderful 37" black leather tie are superior long silver cones
with accenting silver beads. The largest stone measures around 1-5/8" x 1-1/2".
Signed by Navajo artist, R James Jr. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 77
