product details:
Guitar Tuner Drill Jig for Slotted Headstocks
Drilling perfectly aligned pegholes is a tricky and difficult job, and for
slotted headstocks it can be downright awful. It's all too easy to get just
slightly off-center, chip out the walls of the slots, or drill too far. Even if
you have a drill press, this very delicate operation takes serious planning.
Misaligned, off-center pegholes not only look terrible, they also cause tuning
problems.
The product is designed with professional drilling to keep your drill bit
straight, perfectly spaced and centered.
Use your drill press or hand drill with ease and precision. No need to mess
with additional bushings.
Each swiveling aluminum jig maintains the 1-3/8" (35mm) hole spacing for
string posts or rollers.
Clamp the jig on any peghead from 1/2" (12.7mm) to 1-1/8" (28.58mm) thick. Use
the supplied 13/32" (10.32mm) bit for classical machines.
Comes with instructions for use
