This listing includes the capacitor for the EZGO PowerWise charger. The
PowerWise charger tends to stop working suddenly and unexpectedly in most
cases. Depending on what it is doing depends on what part/parts failed. This
capacitor is for folks who hear the charger come on, but notice the status
needle doesn't move or barely moves. These cases are generally solved by
replacing the capacitor. Your charger may have other issues as well, but this
is the solution for those with status needle failure or inconcistency. STOP
getting ripped off by people charging $40 or more for this part! I run a golf
cart shop and we repair hundreds of chargers a year. Many times I can fix a bad
charger for less than $50 that others have been quoted several hundred to
repair. Installation of this capacitor is extremely simple. Once you open your
charger, you simply remove to female spade connectors from the capacitor and
one bolt that holds the capacitor in place. Insert the new capacitor and
replace the spade connectors and retighten the screw. Replace the cover and
you're done! I will include instructions with color photos with your item!

the manufacturer shrinks it a little more in order to cut production costs. You
can simply wrap a few rings of electrical tape ((or any other non conductive
tape)) around the bottom to make the hold down fit. It's not really an issue as
gravity and the pressure of the two wires connected to it make it stay in
place.)
