This kit is a redesign of the Daisy trigger assembly. It is NOT a band-aid fix.
It applies a strong spring where needed to open the valve, and a lighter
spring to provide easier trigger pull. The kit reduces trigger pull from the
stock 6 to 7-1/2# down to 1 to 1-1/2#
Your Daisy trigger will rival those of much more expensive airguns!
This should greatly improve your accuracy.
If you can disassemble and reassemble the Daisy trigger assembly, you can
install this kit.
NOTE*****Installation of this kit requires removal of the "flat
spring" which is the first thing to go in any trigger improvement
procedure.*********
This kit includes a new Daisy trigger and modified sear in addition to the
other parts shown.
Winchester 1977 owners...This mod may initially limit the number of pumps
you can use, but should improve over time.***
NOTE... This kit will NOT work in the very early, Version 1 of the 880/881
that do NOT have the flat spring. These rifles typically have a round (rather
than hex) exhaust valve.
Unlike many other mods, this kit permits full function of the Daisy safety.
It is STRONGLY recommended that shooters follow the use procedure stated on the
rifle.
