Can We Talk Cards: Couples Edition Product Description
The road to a thriving relationship is paved with healthy communication
skills. If you want to grow with your partner instead of growing apart like so
many couples tend to do, it won’t happen on its own (you’ll need to be
intentional about it).
Couples can be together for years and never ask each other things like:
What’s your vision for us as a couple?
What advice would you give to yourself at 21?
How can I show you that you are a priority in my life?
Can We Talk Cards Couples Edition can help with that. This deck is full of fun
and engaging questions that you’ll be happy (or surprised) to know the answer
to, but would not have thought to ask. Increased vulnerability, honesty, and
intimacy is the goal when you use them.
TIPS FOR USING YOUR CAN WE TALK CARDS: COUPLES EDITION
Each deck is about 3 inches in size, so they’re smaller than a standard deck
of playing cards (see pics below for reference). They’re small because we want
to make it easy for you to strike up conversations anywhere you go.
Each deck is shrink-wrapped and packaged tightly. It may take a little
finessing to get the box open without ripping the top flap. Try opening the
bottom flap for a smoother process.
For each card, ask why or why not, when appropriate.
Practice healthy communication skills by listening without judging to the
responses
Use the deck as a game! The first person to answer three random questions in a
row with skipping or pleading the fifth, wins a prize (get creative here).
If you’re not quite in a relationship yet, the cards can be helpful in getting
to know a potential partner (simply remove any cards that don’t apply to your
situation).
