This bag is a compact and roomy garment. This is our 41st Ghurka no. 83 Packet
garment bag we are offering here and one of our best ones! The garment was
never used and is in excellent condition. It does not have any flaws. The
corners are great, the chrome hardware is shiny, the zippers are perfect &
smooth, and the binding is excellent. We rated this garment 9.5 out of a
perfect 10!
This style in black twill does not appear online in this mint condition often,

Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by luxury belt and brace designer Marley
Hodgson, Ghurka has served as a symbol of superior American leather
craftsmanship for over thirty years.
The origins of the Ghurka brand can be traced back to a fortuitous discovery
at a British auction house in the early 1970s. Inspired by his love of history
and leather craft, Hodgson bid on campaign travel gear and leather boots
formerly owned by a British Ghurka officer stationed in India at the turn of
the 20th century. He was so impressed by the quality of the nearly century-old
leather – durable yet supple despite its age – and by the intricate
craftsmanship that he was compelled to launch a line of comparable leather
accessories. Hodgson tracked down the lost tanning formula for these boots and
other accouterments carried by the legendary Ghurka regiments and applied the
manufacturing process to his new collection ".
