I specialize in these plants.
They are named Red Mangroves.
Scientific name is Rhizophora Mangle.
Some call them seeds or propagules.
They are live plants.
They just do not have roots or leaves yet.
They can go directly into saltwater or freshwater. They do not need salt, but
can tolerate it.
They can even be planted with or without soil.
In addition they perform very well with any type of soil or substrate.
Just make sure to keep them in water, brown side down and do not fully
submerge underwater.
I like to cover with water about halfway up the propagule.
They can grow in a jar and even in pots. Just make sure to keep it wet.
They love plenty of sunlight or any light. The more the better.
If leaves are getting burned or damage then distance the lights a little
further from the plant and or give it shade.
