This octopus hook features an offset beak point for higher hook up ration. It gets the corner of the fish’s mouth more often than J-hooks. The upturned eye keeps the hook running straight and true when tied on with a simple snell knot. The barb will come into contact with whatever flesh it touches and prevent movement in the opposite direction from which it entered. When the fish swims away, the hook will slip into the corner of the fish's mouth automatically. Use in a wide range of fishing applications.
